Family Unity and Empowerment for a Lifetime
Hello and thank you for stopping by! I'm Andria Boyd-Diggs, a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in the state of Florida. Before starting Family Unity and Empowerment for a Lifetime (FUEL), I worked with numerous populations in several locations while employed through community mental health agencies. I currently work with individuals, couples, and families and facilitate group counseling for various topics. Additionally, I can accommodate both in-person and telehealth sessions.
My Vision
The vision of Family Unity and Empowerment for a Lifetime is to provide a safe and supportive environment to cultivate personal and emotional growth.
My Mission
Family Unity and Empowerment for a Lifetime is all about providing families with the FUEL to build strong bonds and overcome challenges. Family Unity and Empowerment for a Lifetime (FUEL) provides therapy and coaching services for Families, Couples, and Youth or Adult Individuals. FUEL also provides Parenting/Co-parenting Coaching and Group Counseling. My mission is to provide an inclusive, innovative, thoughtful, and compassionate counseling service to help families overcome challenges and build strong bonds by providing brief, solution-focused treatment with a family-centered approach.
1-on-1, personalized mental health treatment aimed to address an individual's unique needs
Couples therapy aims to help you and your partner improve your relationship. Couples therapy can give you and your partner the opportunity to discuss and resolve issues related to several aspects of your relationship. By entering each therapy session with a shared goal of conflict resolution and the treatment of specific issues, both partners can work towards forging a better relationship.
1-on-1, personalized mental health treatment aimed to address issues that adolescents and teens face. Ages 11-18
Parenting coaching involves working with a coach to develop and achieve goals related to parenting. This could be with one or both parents or any caregiver. Co-parenting coaching involves working together with the co-parent and coach to help create an environment where the children feel safe and comfortable in each of their two homes.
Family therapy aims to help with issues that specifically affect families' mental health and functioning.
Group therapy involves a small group meeting together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to address different issues. Group therapy differs from support and self-help groups in that it not only helps people cope with their problems but also provides opportunities for change and growth; whereas support/self-help groups are usually geared toward alleviating symptoms, rather than addressing underlying patterns and are usually not led by a trained therapist.
